I sit, watching the tide ebb and flow...
My life slowly fading from my lips...
My spirit gently going with out a sound.
Looking back at loves lost...
Memories in the past that faded,
Come back with startling clarity.
I wonder who will remember me...
Remember my life, my joys, my loves.
Who will carry on that which I started...
I wonder, as I watch the sun set.
Alone on a beach...
The colors of the sky, mirroring the colors of my life...
Blues, greys, purples, pinks...
Depression, loss, love, happiness.
With one last look up and down the beach...
Slowly, I rise...
Committed, walking into the ocean...
Exhaling my last
