Missing You
Missing you with all my heart. Wishing we were not so far apart.

Missing you is only a state of mind
brought on by weeping and moaning,
climbing the walls, pressing my nose
against the window, talking to myself,
sighing deep sighs, wringing my hands,
working crossword puzzles, tearing my
hair out, watching lousy movies, biting
my fingernails, drinking 750 cups of
coffee, barking at the dog, scolding
my friends, cheating at solitaire,
starring out the window, sitting for
hours without moving, sleepless nights,
and starring endlessly into space.
