Pain
something I felt a long time ago which still haunts my days

Pain

Pain, torment, relentless depression.
All things dark, all things negative.
This black whole sucks up all
happiness, leaving only despair and pain.
Pain so deep, pain so bold. This
pain is felt more than the cold.
It dwells deep inside that void
of chaos, and waits to attack
a soul....my soul. My fight
for inner peace, my longing for peace,
is dampened, buffered, by the pain.
Pain, a source of energy, energy
for the whole, which is nothing.
