Taste life...
Flavor of the dawn On tongues awaiting day. Nectar on the petals While the flowers gently sway. As rain carefully falls to feet, I must wonder in my time Could ambrosia taste this sweet?... Feel life... Golden field of sand Under bodies grown so still. Luscious wind in the air Bringing beauty at a will. As I hold the one so frail, I must wonder in my heart Could light ever feel so pale?... Hear life... A ripple of rapture On a forgotten azure sea. Echoes in the dark eclipse Of those in a world so free. As I watch the hours spent, I must wonder in my mind Could children sound so content?... See life... Verdant carpets around With dancing beings known. Crystal waters parting to An endless realm of earth shown. As I see the hallowed strands of time, I must wonder in my soul Could elysian heaven look so divine?... Walker of the shadowed light, The bringer of great peace, Be life and all it has to offer, A greater want than ease. And were we all created So that one day we shall fade? That is not the reason why Our souls were truly made.
