I was born blind,
Child of the faded eyes. Serene surrounding seen again, Fading into some darkened end, For eyes of light in a forgotten friend. Noble watcher, Will you see me then? I was born deaf, Child of the bleeding ears. Ethics evade all who deny, Hearing all the broken sighs, Upon deaf ears they now do lie. Noble watcher, Will you hear me cry? I was born lost, Child of the senseless mind. Integrity was my foe, Escaping thoughts I did not know, Of all the pain to come and go. Noble watcher, Will you find me so? I was born dead, Child of the empty core. Brought to this world in silent ways, With dawning now and setting days, Inside this tombed corpse my soul will lay. Noble watcher, Will you save me someday?
