Self Declaration

I am me.
I am a nice person.
I am a good mother and
A loving friend.
I will try to help others
Because I choose to do so.
I abhor violence in all its forms.
I possess a gentle soul.
I will go out of my way to avoid
Causing hurt to others.
I am a strong woman.
Strength does not have to come from a sword.
For me, strength lies in the heart.
Strength can be found in the search for solutions
Not just in the random elimination of evil.
I am young.
I am an innocent.
I will always see the world through
The wide-eyed wonderment of a child.
New things fascinate me.
I try to please others because in doing so,
I please myself.
I have strong beliefs.
I do not understand hypocrisy and prejudice.
I believe knowledge and understanding would go a long
Way in making the world a better place.
I understand that war and violence are sometimes necessary.
This necessity grieves me.
I believe men and women are different ~
Equal in importance, not equal in their roles.
Two halves of the same whole, we complement each other.
I will be gentle, but not a doormat.
I am passive, but not always an easy mark.
I want to be protected and to protect.
There is no room in my life for hatred.
I will love unconditionally.
