Escape to Misery
Shattered and stumbling Crawling through the empty space, Searching futilely For release from the revulsion. I scream, but my scream goes unheard Pain, death, suffering: Life’s bile-ridden viscera, Existing only to destroy Tranquility time and time again. I scream, but my scream goes unheard Bony fingers grapple for a hold On the rusted ledge that remains to grasp The glass showering down over the eaves Deeply etching their torture in scarlet letters. I scream, but my scream goes unheard. It creaks and splinters, Like the glass before it, and The reddened rivers flow faster now. I try to escape… I call for help… Struggling… Grappling… Fighting… I R e f u s e T o G o D o w n L i k e T h i s ! I scream, but my scream goes unheard
