Virelay poem
Though I'm only four

Do you see me here, down by your knee,
wanting you to peek?
With just a glance I’m filled with glee.
For it’s your love I seek.

You make me feel that I’m unique,
the only thing you know.
I need your kiss upon my cheek
and many hugs bestow.

When you're near my face aglow,
with the joy you share.
The endless stream of love you show-
the answer to my prayer.

And giving time to me, indeed so aware;
you never would ignore.
Just because I’m little, you still know I’m there.
Though, I’m only four.
