Pleading Soul

For all of you who have a problem with the description of this poem, I'd like to make it clear that I did not write the description. The person who sponsored this piece wrote it. I have changed it twice already, but it gets changed right back. Someone is of the opinion this is "good poetry". Of course, you have the right to disagree. Either way, thank you for your time.

Can you see me
Can you hear me
Do you sense me
Do you fear me

Sometimes I feel like screaming
I can't make a sound
Sometimes I feel like crying
I'm afraid I will drown

You don't see me
You don't hear me
But you sense me
And you fear me

I'm staring at the mirror
It looks empty to me
I can't explain my terror
Why can no one see

Why not see me
Why not hear me
More than sense me
Please, don't fear me
