You Amazed Me
One was amazed At the wonder of your touch Your gentleness…your wit… The tenderness you show I love you oh so much! “My passion is gone. There’s nothing left.” I said. One was not amazed By the lightness of my heart As I hear your voice… See your smile…feel you Against me ~ part for part. “My passion is gone. There’s nothing left.” I said. Yet one was surprised That I woke up at last Due to your patience… Your touch…your love My uncaring days are past.
