Metaphoric Berryian Poem
Heartbreaking Screams Takes hold of the yore, and bathes it in wine, to give him the drive, attempts to revive. Thickens his blood, with purpose refine, For madness instills, his will to survive, within his world, of blurring design. Love in a bottle, for curdling the night. Passion by blending, a life of pretending. Mixing a memory, into liquid delight, to drown out this venture, into its ending - sedating his future, and avoiding his plight. Be not the journey, that brings him to peace, blinding his torment, that’s bygone intent. Quiet the silence, and shout the release, enduring until, the sleep will prevent - and quiets the mind, in sobering lease. Haunting appears, by waking dreams, when rising portrays, to see the same day, Showing a sanity, by whatever means - and forcing the person, that he must display, for no one can hear, his heartbreaking screams.
