Slice of Heaven

Walking on to the setting sun
hand in hand along the shore
timeless as a grain of sand
a love that soars across the land.

Poetry in motion in my shadow
an integral part of my life
yet so much more you are to me
making my spirit roam so free.

Life is like a dream
a wonderful slice of heaven
where imagination cannot compare
with this magical world we share.

United dreams we have birthed
fought for tooth and nail
or won by force of charms
my strength found in your arms.

When life is hell
all i need to find my slice of heaven
is reach out to you
to find your love so true.
