Taking the controversial stance
is nothing more than a complex dance round a floor not made by nail and hammer but by argument, words and complex grammar. Fill your speech with factual support and with your audience build a rapport lead them round till they find their minds are in a bit of a bind. Confuse them by changing tact or bringing in a weird fact till you’re ready for the conclusions putting forward your final solutions. You might find as I have done that all this can be quite fun but never loose sight of your stance while doing this choreographed dance.
