Despair
A poem about despair & hopelessness. Written when a boyfriend and my best friend hurt me.

I am a fragile soul
A delicate body
Yet my life is a mess
My heart turned to stone
My soul will soon turn black
My body will soon turn cold and hard

My joy has turned to sorrow
My love has turned to hate
There may be no tomorrow
If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be in this state

Sometimes I want to die
Sometimes I want to live
We tell each other a secret or a lie
Then something has to give.

Then someone will get hurt
It's such a shame I know
Secrets, lies, deception, hate
May be our personal destruction
