Sea of Insecurity

On the sea of insecurity,
Afloat on the sea of love;
Drowning a grim possibility,
Worthy of tears empty shove.

Waves wash to the isle of wishes,
Remembered then tossed to the wind.
Good intention, a hook for slow fishes,
Like lonely hearts dear to rescind.

A make believe, hollowed out venture
Bobbing on bellicose blue,
Rowing towards shores of unsureness;
Serendipity sailing this shoe.

Perspective from angles inclement
As weather un-forecast, uncalled.
Umbrellas held bravely in pennant,
Yet shrouding the breeze daftly walled.

An exuberant soaring and wailing
Fills lone sail like a spirit hellion,
Chasing to uncharted tropics
Skiff tossed, as proud head of stallion.

A starry eyed journey, yet gallant,
Facing the ocean of strife
Far be it to flaunt aimless talent
When approaching proud shores of sweet life!
