I Am Beautiful

I am beautiful

My chestnut colored hair
billowing in the soft breeze
intelligent brown eyes
open wide and alert
taking it all in

I am beautiful

Pale skin sharply contrasts
with the red lips
that cover my white smile
a smile that is wide and bright
and comes often

I am beautiful

A slender waist
long legs
and ten cute little toes
chipping purple nail polish upon them
to busy to repaint

I am beautiful

A song tickles my tongue
laughter fills my heart
a gleam in my eye
and I grip a pen in my hand
letting the words flow

I am beautiful

Imperfect
lazy and procrastinate
too loud at times
a bit too happy
and loony

I am beautiful

Slow and steady
fast and spontanious
funloving and jolly
and its what makes
my personality

I am beautiful...

...you just don't know it yet!
