ANSWER TO MY PRAYERS

For weeks I have prayed that life would get better
For my son and his wife;
Looking for a home, looking for work -
They needed a chance at making a go of it.
I asked God to bless them
And when there was nothing for them
But heartache, depression and anger
My faith waivered a bit;
Then one day I decided to stop worrying about it.
I gave the problems to God
And began to put my trust in Him -
Knowing that in His way, there would be an answer.
Today the answer came, they found a home.
Exhausted, but happy, they began moving
Into a new life; one meant for them -
A chance to be happy.
I know now that in giving the problems to God
And putting my trust completely to Him
Is the only way that He can work His miracles.
"Fear Not" He said; "For I am with you always"
Standing together tonight, in the rain
As we were loading the trailer
My son and I were able to say "Praise God"
Now I know that God did answer my prayers
In His own way and in His own time.
I will not worry and fret anymore;
For He is with us, and for us.
All I can say now is "Thank you!"
I know that He cares for all of us.
Everything will be all right.
