Sarah loved Halloween. She walked the city streets, adoring the costumes and the comments about her look. Tonight a woman with multiple bleeding wounds was normal.
She came to where she died. In the shadows were two people. An angry man threatened a woman with a knife. Her hands covered her face. Sarah glided forward. He dropped the knife as Sarah's touch chilled his soul. Rage became terror. He fled. Sarah vanished as the woman looked around. Seeing no one there, she went to call the police. Sarah had new love for Halloween as she watched the woman find safety.
