Inner Understanding
I realized that this is how it is.

Inner Understanding
I hear voices but not like regular voices, they are screaming and crying out.
It hurts me to hear them because I can feel their pain.
I want to help them but I can not find them, they are no where in sight.
I call out to comfort them and tell them everything will be alright but nothing seems to come out.
I search for my voice hoping it will come soon because the pain is getting unbearable.
I fall to my knees and start crying, than all of a sudden it stops,no more voices, no more pain.
I am relieved but than I remembered, those voices are still screaming and hurting somewhere out there.
I get up and walk into a pitch black room and call out, this time with my voice but no one answers.
I continue to search for the owner of the voices but do not find anything except a piece of paper.
I shine my flashlight on the paper and read it and this is what it said:
"ALL THE THINGS YOU SEE AND HEAR
ARE WHAT YOU SHOULD FEAR
FOR IT IS ALL REAL
BUT BEFORE YOU CAN HEAL
YOU MUST REALIZE
IT'S ONLY FOR YOUR EYES"
At first it made no sense
But than I realized those voices are mine.
The reason why they are haunting me is because
I am the only one who understands the pain I am in
And the only person who can make the hurt go away.
It is my Choice to seek help
But I am the only one who will truly understand.
So I have decided to help myself and
Promise that everything will be alright.
