Oh, beautiful butterfly
symbol of earth, sitting on a quiet rose You quiver like a joyful death To hear your summer cry, a warning of winter it can be leisure to die Your uncommonly courageous kindred spirit sang a violet chorus Its music is wicked and sublime In your glorious struggle for love, you crave those who have met danger Fighting with grace, but staying bold
