What is the difference between a northern fairytale and a southern fairytale?
A northern fairytale begins "Once upon a time..."
A southern fairytale begins "Y'all ain't gonna believe this shit..."

Well, the story I am about to tell brought that to mind.

Yesterday my Aunt Katie came over to visit. She is my mothers younger sister, and is a very "genteel" woman. She doesn't cuss, or swear, or use any form of foul language. She is a retired math teacher who taught at the state school for the deaf. So, she is well versed in sign language and didn't have to tolerate many teenage verbal vulgarities.

Aunt Katie recently decided to work part time as a substitute teacher at the state boys correctional facility, located nearby. Before having contact with the kids, she had to go through a series of trainings relating to boys in jail I guess. During yesterday's training, another woman asked,

"What does it mean when a boy grabs his crotch?"

A gentleman in the middle of the room stood to answer the question.

"When you got a .45 you know what you got. When you got a .22 you got to look for it."

He didn't exactly answer her question but Aunt Katie found his analogy rather amusing.
