Oh darkened sky won't
The stars shine tonight? They refuse to share their beauty For the moon exploits their honest intentions. It absorbs their brilliance And gloats to the Wind. Glorious melodies won't stream from the sky Nor will resplendent apparitions. Tonight the moon alone will shine But it will soon die in its selfishness- For plundering others and falsifying glory Will only bring its demise. The stars will brightly shine forever, Yet the inconstant moon will fade away, Lost in its self-satisfaction.
