She sat precariously trying to eat
Grasping, clutching, pecking Wrenching each morsel free The wind buffeting her about She came close enough for me to hear Haranguing, harping, complaining She should not have to work The noise buffeting me about She notices my lack of understanding Fidgeting, hopping, flighty Returns to her meal The sunflower buffeting about She throws another piercing look Accusing, demanding, compelling I refill the feeder Chickadees can be quite indignant
