Driving home from the cemetary
no new tears in these eyes and while the questions are worn out still, they arise. Why is it that; someone is born somebody dies. up ahead are 'hellos' back there the 'goodbyes'. I hear one mother's laughter another one's cries. My Wings Are Broken can You Help Me Fly? Some skaters struggle while others just glide. She shares herself completely then again, has to hide. (Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde?) I said it was true but you knew I lied. You said that you wouldn't but I knew that you might. I looked for the sunshine but forever, it's night. Some people make things happen others just go along for the ride. If I told you they hurt me would you take my side? I'm drowning in deadly grip of an emotional rip-tide. If I bared my soul to you would your arms still open wide?
