Yesterday a lover, Today a poem,
In all things there is a end, In your laugh I could not see your smile, In your heart I could not hear your love, Once the satin touch of your lips tore my heart, Shredding the dream of you, Once a velvet hand touched mine, And the world came crashing down, In my heart I will never dream again, For tonight a poem sails, And lover fades away.
