THE GIFT

A new day is a special gift from God
given each of us to use as we will.
The sun shines and the spirit rests,
and we know that He loves us still..

Each new day is a new beginning,
leaving all yesterday's cares behind
and moving on to something new;
Renewed faith I have longed to find!

It's another miracle in the making!
Look up and see the sky is blue
Open up the gift He's given you -
you'll find His love for you is true.

Look ahead to His gift of promise;
take the time to try and forgive -
He knocks on the door of your heart;
Just let Him in - and LIVE!
