What are Little Mods made of?

Little Mods are made of
Words
Nesting in their heads
Words that rise at break of day
And tuck them into bed

With a comma here,
Perhaps a dash – or
Semicolon; sure, why not
And, when do I use a colon: Who knows?

Little Mods are made of
Words
That dance upon their souls
Words that reason and sometimes rhyme
Or not

With a comma here,
Perhaps a bracket (enclosure), or
Semicolon; sure, why not
And, when do I use a colon: Oh yeah, that’s it

Little Mods are made of
Words
That feed upon their heart
A single word can shape a life
Really? I find that hard to believe…I bet it takes four, or five
