My Son
Trying to find the words....

You have always been a wonder to me!
From the moment we first met
Those clear blues eyes
Pensive, questioning, older
Expecting, demanding, wanting
The world to be yours.

You have always been a joy to me!
From the moment you first smiled
Sun on your face
Festive, intoxicating
Elevating, calming, blessing
My world becoming yours.

You have always been mystery to me!
From the moment you first spoke
Your voice so clear
Suasive, probing, inquiring
Compelling, polishing, making
The world of words yours.
