Paradoxical Chivalry
When love isn't returned
Rated:

Avg Rating: (6)
To the ends of the endless earth I have journeyed
and still you do not love me
I've wished on every star
and still you do not turn my way
I've given you respect, worship and praise
and all you've given me was neglect
In my mind you are more precious than life itself
In yours I shouldn't have lived
In my world you rule as queen
I exist no more than a peon in yours
You are the silver moon that lights up my night
I'm the tarnish, dull and black
Living in a paradoxical chivalry
