Childhood: Lost
Innocence is forgotten Wonder has walked away. The monsters are gone, and the shadows are all morphed out. Bedtime is anytime. Being carefree is just a memory. The playgrounds aren't so big and the castles have sunk from the sky. The toys are packed or thrown out and past dreams have floated away. Young friendships have since passed and family isn't so great. Growing up is no longer a dream, it's a reality. ~MJ
