ON LOAN

Our lives are not our own
We are just on loan
Until our maker
Calls us home -
So the lives we touch
Along the way
Gives us reason
To always pray
That there will be time
To cherish and love
Before He calls us
From up above.
When death steals away
The ones we hold dear
There is no need
To shed a tear;
Think about it now
Be it family or friend
Know that this
Is not the end!
Remember that we
Must go on alone,
For we are all -
Just on loan.
