Observing Myself

Staring into the mirror
My eyes are haunted
Dark orbs
With ghosts inside
Numb hands grip my hair
Uselessly moving it aside
I look down at my wrists
So does the girl in the mirror
I watch as she picks up her comb
It is in my hand too
Suddenly her eyes flare!
The anger within is just too much!
SLASH!
SCRAPE!
GRIND!
Back and forth with force!
The biting teeth open flesh
The girl is crying in the mirror
I feel her tears drop off my chin
Another spurt of rage
And she watches me
Attack the other wrist
