Earth, Fire, and Passion

Act One
Scene 1

(Fade in after tacky theme song, Kaylee and Stella sit at table sipping iced tea with Kelly in the background. Kaylee gazes longingly at Kelly's back)

Kaylee - I just can't take it anymore Stella. I love him!
Stella - (shakes head) I honestly don't know what you see in him Kaylee, I mean he's so...Kelly.
Kaylee - I know that's what makes him so great! (sits back and glares) But, you don't really care anyway, you've already got the man of your dreams.
Stella - (happy smile) I know. (shows off glittering diamond ring) Brad and I are just so...perfect together! I'm sorry that your still trying to snag your guy Kaylee, but I just can't be sad when I have Brad!
Kaylee - Oh, I don't know what I'm obsessing over him anyway! He doesn't like me, I just know it.
Stella - Do you know that for sure? Have you ever asked him out?
Kaylee - Well not exactly.
Stella - It's a yes or no question.
Kaylee - Then no I haven't.
Stella - (sips iced tea) Why not?
Kaylee - I'm afraid.
Stella - Of what?
Kaylee - God, Stella could you be anymore nosey? I'm afraid of him saying no alright?!
Stella - Oh Kaylee, what's fear in the storms of passion?
Kaylee - Fine, I'll ask him out! But when...where...how?!

(Kaylee looks at the screen with pure despair all over her face. Camera flips over to Kelly, who is sitting alone at the bar. Stella and Kaylee are able to be seen faintly in the background. Kelly looks depressed)

Kelly - (obviously thinking aloud) I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm so confused! I know that I'm not attracted to women anymore, I've confessed that to myself. But can I confess it to others? (looks up at TV screen just in time to catch Yao Ming shooting a basket) Man, what I wouldn't do to have that...mmm...

(Sighs and sets head in hands. Camera zooms out and focuses on the worried expression on Kaylee's face behind him, then back on Kelly's face. Holds for 10 seconds of despair before fading to black)

Scene 2

(Scene opens to Brad, opening in mailbox and taking out what is inside. He looks at it for a moment before Lilly walks up the street. She's wearing a skimpy jogging outfit)

Lilly - Hey Brad! What are you up to?
Brad - Hello Lilly (looks her up and down) Just going through the mail. What are you doing on this side of the city? Your pretty far from home.
Lilly - (Puts hands on hips) Well, you know that I work down at the gym. I'm a teacher there.
Brad - Oh really? (obviously flirting) Well I didn't know that. Very interesting, why aren't you teaching right now?
Lilly - Well the gym is closed now silly! I usually stay late and do a workout of my own, but I decided to run today.
Brad - Of course, how stupid of me! (he winks) I just might have to sign up for one of your classes sometime.
Lilly - I would love it! You know, if you come in after the gym closes tomorrow I might be able to give you a...(pauses, licks her lips seductively)...private lesson.
Brad - (interested) Sounds like something I just might want to get into.
Lilly - Oh you will.

(Stella pulls her car into the driveway, glaring out the window at Brad and Lilly. Brad turns around, waves at his wife before turning back to Lilly, slightly sheepish)

Lilly - I'll see you around Brad...

(Lilly turns and runs back down the street and Brad can't help but watch her go. Stella appears behind Brad and clears her throat. Brad turns around quickly)

Stella - What was all that about?
Brad - All what? Lilly? (laughs) Oh sweetie, she was just jogging by and we had a chat.
Stella - (still angry) It looks like a lot more than just talking to me!
Brad - Ella, you know me better than that. We just got married, do you really think I would try something now? (winks) I mean, I'd be sure to wait at least a few weeks!
Stella - (softens) Oh all right! I believe you. (smiles) But I swear if you ever did something I would die!

(Stella laughs and walks up to the house while Brad finishes grabbing the mail and closes the box door. He looks at street that Lilly disappeared down, biting his lip and looking thoughtful. Holds for 10 seconds before fading to black)

Scene 3

(Scene opens in a bank. Francesca is at one bank teller with her open purse trying to get out the right amount of money. She looks flustered. Greg is in the teller next to her withdrawing about 300 dollars. He notices that Francesca is blind.)

Francesca - I am so sorry about this! I thought that I had put it all in that one purse but I must have left it in this coin one...

(Francesca feels through the coin purse not noticing that some of her change has fallen out of the purse and onto the floor. Greg notices though and bends down to scoop it up. Instead of handing it back to her he attempts to pocket it.)

Teller - Excuse me sir! I believe that is her money.
Greg - (glares at the teller) Is not.
Teller - She just dropped it sir, you need to return it to her otherwise I will call security.
Francesca - Oh its ok! It was only a little change...right?
Greg - Yeah what's the big deal?
Teller - (starts to motion to a security guard) I'll ask you once again...
Greg - Fine! I didn't know that it was that big of a deal.

(Greg throws the money in the general direction of Francesca and the teller. The teller glares at him as he stalks away. Francesca returns to depositing her money. Camera follows Greg out the door for 10 seconds before fading out.)

Act Two
Scene 1

(Scene opens with Brad and Yao at a public basketball court outside. They are playing one and one while talking.)

Brad - You think your gonna win?
Yao - Yes! I am the professional here after all.
Brad -Well you think wrong!
Yao - Oh yeah? (challenging)
Brad - Yeah!
Yao - (steals the ball from Brad and makes a basket) Oh! And the crowd goes wild!
Brad - (grabs ball and holds it still) Yeah yeah yeah!
Yao - So how are you and your beauuutiful wife Stella doing?
Brad - Not so good. I love her and everything but damn! She is always up in my face!
Yao - Ha1 That's why I'm single! Free to do whatever I want and whenever I want.
Brad - Yeah, I can remember those days! (sighs) It gets more complicatedt than that. This morning Lilly came by and asked me if I wanted a 'private lesson' at the gym where she teaches. You know what that means!
Yao - Wow. Man, you are too lucky! I mean, I know I have girls fawning all over me but not offering me free lessons!
Brad - Lucky?! Yao, I wish it never happened! I want to go see Lilly...I mean man she is hot...but I can't betray Stella like that!
Yao - I know it must be hard but you have a decision to make Brad.
Brad - I wish it never happened...
Yao - (walks forward and looking seriously into Brad's eyes) Do you Brad? Do you really?
Brad - (hesitates) Well...
Yao - Then I think you already made your decision didn't you?
Brad - (obviously changing the subject) Hey check it out here comes Greg! (walks toward Greg and Brad reluctantly follows) You know that your not welcome on this court, so what are you doin' over here?
Greg - Excuse me, but technically I'm not on the court.
Yao - Are you talking smart with me? (gets furious and gives Greg a shove. Greg shoves back and pretty soon Greg is in a headlock with Yao pounding on him. Brad pulls him off as best as he can.)
Brad - Hey man just back off him.

Yao lets go of Greg and storms off. Greg staggers to his feet cradling a bloody nose. Camera sets on Greg's face, holds for 10 seconds, before fading out)

Scene 2

(Scene starts in a club. Lars and the rest of the Rainbow band are playing a sweet, melodic song. Kelly is sitting front and center swaying to the music. The song ends and Lars goes up to the microphone.)

Lars - Hey! Thanks everyone for coming down. We're the Rainbows and we're done for tonight! (Lars walks off the stage and over to Kelly)
Kelly - Hey, that was a really great song.
Lars - (grins) Yeah? You liked it? I'm glad, it was our new one for the night.
Kelly - Best music I've heard in a while. You are really good.
Lars - We're looking for another member, if you've got any talent. (he winks)
Kelly - (laughs) Oh I've got talent but not in the music department! (sighs) Your so lucky Lars, everyone is so lucky!
Lars - What do you mean? Come on Kelly, let it out. I know your sad about something so just let it all out.
Kelly - (suddenly blurts it out) Everyone seems to have found love but me!
Lars - (meaningful) Love is everywhere Kelly, it might eve be right under your nose.
Kelly - Yeah, maybe your right.
Lars - Hey, you want to get together sometime? I think we could have some fun.
Kelly - (hesitates and suddenly becomes nervous) Umm...yeah, sure that might be cool.
Lars - Great! Tomorrow ok? We can meet at the beach place.
Kelly - Yeah...ok, alright. I'll see you then.
Lars - (puts hand on arm before pulling away) See you.

(Kelly watches Lars receding back. Holds worried expression for 5 seconds, then smiles slightly for the last 5 before fading out)

Scene 3

(Camera focuses on Greg who is in the alley near the basketball courts, alone. Looks furious and is pacing back and forth. He has stopped bleeding but is still messy.)

Greg - People just think they can push me around! That's how it always is, always! I've never known a person who felt like I was the same as them, and that they weren't above me. (growls in fury before continuing) I can deal with people ignoring me, even looking at me funny, but I can (hits wall with fist) not (hits again) deal (again) with (again) out (again) right (again) MEAN! (ignores now bloody knuckles)
Greg2**- Don't beat yourself up Greg.
Greg - I know, I KNOW! But everyone makes me so mad. No one understands me. You know that, you experience the same thing.
Greg2 - I get mad too Greg but I don't break my hand trying to release.
Greg - Would you rather me break Yao's neck?
Greg2 - At least you wouldn't be hurting yourself.
Greg - (broods) Your not good for me you know. Your making me think of bad things. I shouldn't be thinking about killing at all.
Greg2 - Why not? Everyone thinks about killing. (voices gets airy and whispers) I think about killing.
Greg - I know...I know you do.
Greg2 - You know me well Greg.
Greg - (nods) Too well.

(If played by an alternate character, camera moves off Greg2 and centers on Greg. Greg looks at his bloody hand and raises it to his face, licking away a trickle. Camera holds on Greg's furious face for 10 seconds before fading out)

** - Greg 2 is the same actor only speaking in a high and more feminine voice. Or may be played by the two actors pretending to be the two personalities of Greg. Either way this character has a split personality - the second being female.

Scene 4

(Scene opens with Kaylee sitting in her office, she's a therapist. A clock somewhere in the room reads 9:07am - its obviously the next morning. Suddenly the door opens and in walks Francesca. She's got the whole blind this down - the cane, the glasses too. Kaylee smiles and helps Francesca to a chair)

Kaylee - Hello Francesca! I'm glad that you could make the appointment after all.
Francesca - Yup, I found out I had enough time. Although, I really don't feel its necessary!
Kaylee - But it is! I can tell that there is something bothering you. I'm your friend and you can't hide it from me!
Francesca - (laughs) No I guess I can't!
Kaylee - You haven't been the same ever since you went blind Fran, I know that its not just the enviroment change either. Something else is different, its all in how your personality is.
Francesca - I honestly don't know how you come up with these things Kay! There's nothing wrong with me on the inside. I have all the support I need.
Kaylee - I know, but can you just humor me?
Francesca - Alright, alright! You've talked me into it. What should I talk about?
Kaylee - Anything that your heart desires (she smiles)
Francesca - Well, lets see. I spent most of the morning at church today, basically just praying and thanking the lord for all that I have. Then I had to just stop at the supermarket for a few things. I accidently ran into a little boy, he fell down and started to cry. (becomes emotional but not crying) I was so upset that I had to go back to church to ask God to forgive me to hurting the little boy...
Kaylee - (nods sympathically) Its alright dear, I'm sure the boy is fine.
Francesca - I know, but then I think about this woman yesterday, she tripped over my cane and then yelled at me for putting it right out in front of her. I tried to explain that I didn't mean to but...(trails off and sighs)
Kaylee - Francesca, dear, your avoiding something.
Francesca - (acts suprised) What do you mean?
Kaylee - Your bringing up things that I know aren't lurking on you. Your trying to keep off another subject. (leans forward urgently) Francesca, what happened the day that you lost your eyesight? Tell me, please!
Francesca - Nothing happened that I haven't already told you! And honestly Kaylee, I am not avoiding anything!

(A speaker beeps near Kaylee and a secretary's voice can be heard over it)

Secretary - Ms. Johnson? Your appointment is here.
Kaylee - Alright, I'll be right out. (turns back to Francesca) Well, I guess this little meeting is over. I had to sneak you between two others and they come first since they are paying costumers!
Francesca - (laughs half-heartedly) I understand. I'll come back another day.
Kaylee - Ok, take care.

(They nod and part. The camera follows Francesca into the elevator. When the doors close she takes off her sunglasses and rubs her eyes with a sigh. Camera holds with her hands over her eyes for ten seconds before fading out)

Scene 5

(Scene opens with Stella walking into the bedroom where Brad is getting dressed - he looks freshly showered. He has his pants on and is starting to button his shirt. Stella walks up behind him and puts her arms around him.)

Stella - Hey Sexy (purrs)
Brad - (irritated) Stella, can't you see I'm trying to get dressed?
Stella - (hurt) Jeez, I'm sorry. (turns angry) I guess I though I was your wife or something.
Brad - Listen, I'm sorry but I'm trying to get ready to go.
Stella - Go? I thought we were going to try and hang out together at the house? We haven't really had that much time alone since we got married.
Brad - What do you mean? We had a three day honeymoon in Hawaii!
Stella - But still...
Brad - I'm sorry Stella but I made this plan before you thought up that idea.
Stella - Fine, (sighs and flops down on the bed) where are you going anyway?
Brad - (suddenly seems anxious) Uhhh, I uh. Well, I told Yao - you know Yao Ming? - that I would uh, watch the show er game with him. Tonight. Or, more like afternoon. This afternoon.
Stella - (sits up and crinkles brow) What game?
Brad - You know Stella, a basketball game. Yao wants me to see it with him.
Stella - You mean your turning down a day with your wife to go watch a basketball game?
Brad - Its more than just a basketball game to Yao, honey. That's his life you know.
Stella - (looks very suspicious) Well, alright. It just seems a little crazy to me.
Brad - I would stay with you Stella. (kisses forhead) But you don't know how touchy Yao can be. I've really got to get going.
Stella - Ok...
Brad - (walking out of bedroom) I probably won't be home until late! Don't keep dinner waiting for me!

(Brad exits and camera focuses on Stella. She has her hands on her hips and looks very angry.)

Stella - Watch a basketball game? Yeah right! Brad is hiding something from me and I intend to find out what.

(Suddenly Brad runs back in. He grabs his keys from the table and gives a silly smile and shrug before running back out again. He doesn't seem to notice Stella's mad face. Camera holds on her angry expression for 10 seconds before fading out)

Scene 6

(Scene opens on Kelly, who is trying to look casual while entering the beach club but failing miserably. He looks around nervously before spotting Lars talking with a group of girls)

Kelly - (whispering to himself) Maybe I was wrong about Lars...

(Kelly nervously walks up to Lars just as the group bursts into laughter. Lars turns around and when he sees Kelly his face lights up)

Lars - Kelly! Oh I'm so glad that you could make it!
Kelly - Yeah...
Lars - (leads Kelly over to a quieter spot) So what's up Kelly?
Kelly - One guess! (they laugh and wink) Thanks for inviting me here.
Lars - No problem! It is a lot of fun and everyone is really laid back. No one treats people like us differently.
Kelly - (gulps) People like us?
Lars - Oh, you know Kelly! (winks)
Kelly - (nervously switches subject) So, what are the fun things to do around this place?
Lars - Oh there's all sorts of things! You can dance, have some drinks, just party all night long! (laughs) Or you can just walk along the beach and enjoy the nature of things. I know of this really great place that no one else knows about, its completely secluded and really smashing.
Kelly - Really? That sounds great! (starts to loosen up) I love nature, its just so pretty.
Lars - Yeah man, I love...(looks at Kelly for a few seconds before continuing) nature, too.
Kelly - Do you think you can take me to this secluded spot?
Lars - (with a meaningful note in voice) I can take you many places Kelly, anywhere you want to go. (smiles) Come on, lets get moving. We should get there right at noon when all the sun in shining in.
Kelly - Ok, that sounds great! (they leave the beach house and start walking along the shore) So, how is your band doing? You were really fantastic last night.
Lars - Thanks! Maybe next time you can come backstage afterward. (they laugh) The rainbows are making it big! We're going to be going on this whole huge tour pretty soon. Its going to be a lot of fun.
Kelly - That sounds really awesome! I've always liked music you know. Its just so pretty.
Lars - Yeah, I've always liked music too. Its like a gateway to my soul. Do you know who my favorite musician is?
Kelly - Who?
Lars - (dreamy note in voice) Elton John
Kelly - (looks shocked) That's my favorite singer too!
Lars - No way, are you serious?
Kelly - Yeah! (laughs) He's the best!
Lars - I couldn't agree more my friend.

(They smile at each other and Lars takes the lead, walking through some trees and such. They walk just a little ways in silence and then Lars stops. There is a small beach in front of them.)

Lars - Here it is, (puts hand on Kelly's arm) isn't it magnificent?
Kelly - Yeah, its beautiful.
Lars - Its completely secluded too. (looks into Kelly's eyes) No one knows about it except for me.
Kelly - So we're completely alone?
Lars - (still has hand on Kelly's arm) Yes.
Kelly - No one can find us here?
Lars - No one.
Kelly - (smiles) Good.

(Camera pulls back and gets a picture of them both smiling, standing a little bit closer than normal and Lars still has his had on Kelly's arm. Hold for 10 seconds before fading out)

Act 3
Scene 1

(Scene opens with Stella humming a catchy tune. She is randomly pulling things off the shelf while looking at the list. She suddenly stops confused.)

Stella - Where and what in the hell is fitness water?

(She shrugs and turns down an isle that she thinks it might be in. Stella stops startled when she sees who is in there already.)

Stella - Yao?
Yao - (jumps around, startled) Stella! Wow, HI!
Stella - What are you doing here?
Yao - (flustered) Uh, I'm shopping!
Stella - I thought Brad was going to watch the game with you today.
Yao - Uh, he is!
Stella - Really? Then why are you shopping?
Yao - We ran out of...stuff.
Stella - What sort of stuff?
Yao - (starts to sweat) Well um...rice cakes! No, er um Lean Cuisene!
Stella - Rice Cakes?
Yao - Yeah!
Stella - (narrows eyes and asks as if it were a test) What kind of rice cakes?
Yao - (grabs the first bag of rice cakes he sees and quickly reads package. He holds it up and grins madly) Apple! (pretends to turn tough) You got a problem with it?
Stella - No, not at all. Go ahead continue on your shopping.
Yao - (looks surprised) Really?
Stella - Really. Oh and when you go back and talk to Brad tell him that if I had known he liked Lean Cuisene so much I would have it around the house more often.
Yao - Ok, I'll - I'll tell him.
Stella - Thanks (starts to turn away before quickly turning back) What did you say Brad and you were going to be doing today?
Yao - Oh! Um we're just going to hang out...you know watch a movie I guess...
Stella - Uh-hu (thin-lipped smile) I'll see you around Yao.
Yao - Bye...

(Stella walks away and Yao bites his lip)

I hope that I didn't just completely ruin things for Brad...

(puts hand to head and camera holds on worried expression for 10 seconds before fading out)

Scene 2

(Scene opens with Lilly on the treadmill. She takes a few more steps and then gets off, wiping her face with a towel. She's all hot and sweaty from working out. You can hear a door being opened and the Brad walks onto the set. Lilly smiles and strikes an alluring pose as he comes in.)

Lilly - Hey Brad.
Brad - (huge grin) Hey.
Lilly - I'm really glad that you could make it (walks closer to him) I was just finishing up so you came at the perfect time.
Brad - I always come at the right time.
Lilly - That's good to know (all of this is in a sexy voice)
Brad - So your usually here working out all alone.
Lilly - Yup, that's how it is every night. It does get aweful lonely down here. That's why I'm glad you came, you can keep me company.
Brad - I'm not here to just give you company you know.
Lilly - (gets a little closer and looks intrigued) Oh really, then why are you here?
Brad - (still wearing huge grin) I think you know
Lilly - Your being awful sneaky Brad.
Brad - And your being awful sly Lilly.
Lilly - Sly, sneaky...sounds naughty.
Brad - Is that good or bad?
Lilly - (moves even closer, putting a hand on his chest) Good, very good.
Brad - (They look into each others eyes) I'm ready for my private lesson.

(Camera holds on them with a huge grin on Lilly's face and Brad looking...interested. Hold for 10 seconds before fading out)

Scene 3

(Scene opens with a shot of Francesca kneeling in a church. She is there all alone and obviously thinking aloud)

Francesca - ...Amen. (sigh) Oh I'm so confused. A lot of things have happened to me lately and not one of them seem to be good. The biggest of them was loosing my eyesight of course. Its so hard now trying to get around, I realize now how much I took my eyes for granted.

(Francesca drops her hands from the praying position and leans back. She seems now to be talking more to herself than God)

Francesca - I know that it was an accident and that it was no ones fault. Why would someone intentionally want me to lose my eyesight? No one of course. I guess that its just hard for me to accept that something so horrible could happen without a reason.

(Francesca tries to put a cheerful note in her voice. She is after all extremely optimistic)

Francesca - But maybe that isn't all of it. Maybe I was supposed to lose my eyesight. After all God works in strange ways. How do I know that He isn't trying to show me the joys of other things. Perhaps music, or taste. I should be happy I'm getting a whole new perspective on life!

(The cheerful note fails and she once again sounds very worried. She bites her lip a little and sighs)

Francesca -That's why I don't know what I should do about the operation. My doctor says he might be able to fix my eyes but what if my eyes aren't supposed to be fixed? What if that is against the will of God? As much as the idea of being able to see again excites me I don't know if I should take the opportunity or not.

(shakes head and gets into praying position again)

Francesca - Not to mention the fact that fixing my eyes would stir up too many unresolved problems...

(Camera pulls away from Francesca as she begins to pray again. Camera holds on her as she prays, you cannot hear her only see her lips moving. Hold for 10 seconds before fading out)

Scene 4

(Scene opens in an extremely messy room. There are empty pizza boxes and beer cans everywhere, dirty socks and underwear all over the place, dusty and its just an all around pig sty. There are posters with naked women on them. A TV in the background only has fuzz on it. Greg is seated in front of an ancient computer and he's a mess. Blood-shot eyes, greasy hair, the works. Camera zooms so that you can see his profile, the computer screen and the keyboard. He's clicking through a bunch of websites explaining how to make bombs when he speaks aloud.)

Greg - Ok, lets see here...its just past 7 the guy should be on...

(Right on cue there's a dinging sound and an instant message pops up. You can see what is written there. Greg's screen name is Greg931 and he's talking to Rocky888 this is their conversation.)

Rocky888 says: You still interested?
Greg931 says: Yes.
Rocky888 says: I'm taking a big risk with this you know.
Greg931 says: I know. Do you have it?
Rocky888 says: Its sitting right here in my lap! Its a beauty. Brand new.
Greg931 says: You better not be lying to me.
Rocky888 says: I'm not! Top quality for cheap here man you can't get it better.
Greg931 says: You better be right that's all I gotta say.
Rocky888 says: Trust me man, trust me.
Greg931 says: What time, where, and how much?
Rocky888 says: 9 tomorrow night sound good?
Greg931 says: I'll tell you if it sounds good when I have the price.
Rocky888 says: Ok! Ok, we'll start at 250 and go from there.
Greg931 says: 200
Rocky888 says: We can haggle once you see it!
Greg931 says: Fine, 9 tomorrow at the corner of 7th and Bunker.
Rocky888 says: I'll be there. I only take cash you know.
Greg931 says: Ok
Rocky888 says: See you then, oh and don't spread around how cheap your getting this gun for otherwise everyone will be running to me. I'm doing you a real favor.
Greg931 says: Right.
Rocky888 says: Hush, hush see you tomorrow.

(There is another ding and Rocky888 signs out. Greg in turn logs off and runs a hand through his hair.)

Greg2 - I hope you know what your doing.
Greg - Of course I know what I'm doing!
Greg2 - You sure you can trust this guy?
Greg - For as long as I need him.
Greg2 - Where are you going to get the money for this gun?
Greg - Bank.
Greg2 - You don't have to pay you know...
Greg - What do you mean?
Greg2 - Well this guy is going to hand you a fully loaded gun at the corner of a deserted street. It would be so EASY...
Greg - He's doing me a favor!
Greg2 - Haven't you ever heard the saying that nice guys finish last? There's a reason for that you know.
Greg - I don't know...
Greg2 - That's ok you have a whole day to think about it. I know you'll make the right decision.

(If there is one actor Greg alternately bites his lip and smiles if there is two Greg2 smiles evilly and Greg looks up at the other with a worried expression. Hold for ten seconds before fading out)

Scene 5

(Camera comes in exactly where we left Lars and Kelly at the end of Act 2 Scene 6.)

Lars - Do you want to sit down?
Kelly - Yes.

(They sit down.)

Lars - There's something about you Kelly...
Kelly - I feel the same way Lars.
Lars - I don't know what it is.
Kelly - I think the thing with you is that you don't care what other people think you just do what you want. What with the band, and your friends and -
Lars - you.
Kelly - (gulp) Me?
Lars - Yes Kelly, you.
Kelly - I have something to confess
Lars - Go ahead, I won't judge you.
Kelly - I know you won't that why I - I have two things to confess Lars.
Lars - (smiles) I think I can guess one.
Kelly - (blushes) Well, the first one is that I'm not out of the closet. No one knows that I'm...well you know. Well no one but you.
Lars - Yes, I thought it was quite obvious
Kelly - You did? Wow
Lars - There's just something about you Kelly that makes it obvious
Kelly - Thanks
Lars - Now what was the second thing?
Kelly - What?
Lars - You said that you had two things to confess
Kelly - (suddenly turns very shy) Oh yeah, I uh well... (takes a deep breath and looks deep into Lars' eyes) Lars...I love you.
Lars - Oh Kelly! (takes Kelly into his arms) I've waited so long for you to say that!
Kelly - I never thought I would find someone like you!
Lars - Your like the sun in my life, I can't live without you now that I have found you!
Kelly - What does it matter? We're alone on the sand and there's only one thing that I want.
Lars - (meaningful) I want it too.
Kelly - (dramatically) Oh Lars take me now!

(They embrace in a passionate kiss and slowly lay down. The camera however does not follow them and all that you can see is the ocean, and the bright sun. A pair of underwear flys through the air in slingshot style. Sounds of 'yes' and 'Oh Lars/Kelly!' can be heard. Camera slowly fades out after about 10 seconds.)

Scene 6

(Camera opens exactly where we left Brad and Lilly at the gym on Act 3, Scene 2)

Lilly - Great! I have a feeling that you are going to like this lesson.
Brad - I do too.
Lilly - (takes Brad's hands) Well, our lesson will begin right over here (leads him playfully over to the jacuzzi)
Brad - Water areobics?
Lilly - Something like that (wink)
Brad - Very fun (wink)
Lilly - Ok, first instruction! Get in the tub and I'll be right bacl

(Somehow music is turned on and its very romantic. Camera focuses on something a light maybe but in just a few Lilly comes out of the next room in a simpy red bikini. Brad is in the jacuzzi. Is he naked? Maybe)

Brad - Wow (eyes wide)
Lilly - (smirk) Instruction two (she steps into the jacuzzi and floats over to him) makes love to me like you've never made love to anyone before!
Brad - Oh yeah! (more of a grunt than words)

(Brad grabs Lilly and they go under the water. Hold on bubbled for two seconds before a red bikini top floats up to the top. Hold on that and their heads coming out of the water with them kissing for 8 more seconds before fading out.)

Episode 2

Kelly realizes that Lars has heat stroke, runs to go get help.

Kaylee is at home oogling over Kelly

Lilly and Brad are all talking and making alluring comments. Brad then says that he really has to get going. Lilly lets him go but mentions something about getting together again

Yao is frantically trying to find Brad but just can't get a hold of him. Hopes upon hopes that he doesnt' get caught (possibly cuaght in a mob of fans)

Francesca is walking down the street and is mugged. Finally decides that enough is enough. Says that God has given the doctor the chance to make her better, so she has to take it.

Kelly is in the back of the ambulence with Lars and saying all this stuff about loving him, etc. etc. whatever - all teary

Brad goes home to find Stella waiting, they get in this mucho big fight and Stella slaps him. Brad gets all mad and says all this stuff which gets Stella crying. Eventually they get it on

Greg goes to the deserted alley place and it all talking with himself, etc. and then the Rocky dude shows up. He shoots him and then runs away.

Yao has this terrible dream about how he screwed up Francesca's eyesight but people dont' really know that it's about that right now. He pushes it away as stress because of Brad.

Lars dies in Kelly's arms.

Lilly is all panting over Yao Ming and then while she's hiking across town swears that she sees the super star even though he's supposedly playing basketball.

CHARACTER LIST

Brad - Brad is married to Stella. They live in a great big house in Sacremento, California. Stella and him have only been married for a week or so but already things are a little strained. Stella gets jealous easily and Brad gets distracted just as easily. Best friend is Yao Ming

Francesca - A very nice, sweet-hearted girl. She wants to try and help everyone and doesn't complain about her own problem - being blind. There might be a surgery that can fix her blindness someday! Very religious.

Greg - Greg has a split personality, although he hasn't had any treatment for it. His other personality is a woman, so needless to say he's a little confused. Absolutely despises Yao Ming.

Kaylee - Is in love with Kelly, desperately! She will do anything for him and when she realizes that he doesn't want her - well never want her, alcohol becomes her savoir.

Kelly - In the closet gay man. He has only recently confessed to himself and hasn't confessed to any other. Oblivious to Kaylee's love, and obsessed with his own attraction to Yao Ming. Thinks that Lars isn't that bad though...

Lars - Drummer in the band 'Rainbow'. Originally from britian he is a black male. When he sees Kelly he knows what he wants.

Lilly - Fitness director down at the gym. Also has a thing for Yao Ming. Decides that the only way to get Yao is to go through his best friend, so is attempting to make Brad have an affair. After all, Brad isn't that bad himself.

Stella - Absolutely, positively is in love with Brad. Couldn't be happier, that is probably why she is so jealous when someone talks to him. Wants to start a family and thinks she has the perfect life.

Yao Ming - Most know him as Yao. A famous basketball player for the NBA. Has few enemies and more people that just want to get with him.
