My world, My life, My everything
A poem about first love.

My world,My life,My everything

When I saw him for the first time,
My heart began to pound,
His eyes, so intense,
So full of love and passion, regret and sorrow,
Yet comforting all at once,
Attraction. Attracted.
I watched as he walked away,
Leaving me mesmerized,
By his stealth,by his beauty,
His rugged outline visible against the blackened sky,
Whenever we were apart,
It hurt deep inside, where the fire grew,
Burning softly.
Those eyes...
With a crash my world came tumbling down around me,
Tears glistening and mingling the words together,
Until they made no sense in my mind.
The hurt and pain he caused when he walked away,
So real, so great.
I could pretend I didn't love him,
I could fool my friends and my family,
But I couldn't fool myself,
He was my world, my life, my everything.
