Who is here to wipe my tears, To hold my hand, erase my fears? Who is here to hold me tight, And embrace me through the night? Who is here to share my dreams, My hopes, my silly little schemes? Who from my soul the laughter stole And from my heart the song that tolled? Who promised love and support forever? Then changed his mind and left me severed From his thoughts, his future, his life, Leaving pillaged shell of mother and wife? Who holds your trust now, your secrets, your heart? Whose smile do you share when we are apart? Without the imprint of years, wrinkled and grey And worry lines of motherhood that are here to stay? My life is in shambles, totally shattered, My future and heart so torn, so battered. I offered you all that I had to share; It wasn't enough...you just didn't care.
