I'll Be Here

I'll be here for you when times get tough.
I'll stand by your side when things get rough.

God didn't promise us an easy road ahead,
He just promised He wouldn't leave us by ourselves instead.

Giving God your all may be hard to do,
But that's the only way to live since He gave His life for you.

He gave us everything, His life taken with great pain,
He was humbled and righteous before our eyes, and He asks us to do the same.

But God did give us a gift in life to keep us on the track,
He gave us friends to hold our hands, and even watch our back.

So this trial that you’re going through may take you for a ride,
Up, then down, and all around within your heart inside.

But remember I'll be here, to help guide you through,
Live for God with all you can, it's the best thing you can do.
