When I rise, in my eyes, I see beauty,
For the sea, all to me, is a lady, That is calling, sunlight falling, For my closed hand... And I laugh as the waves crash upon me, The cool water over my warm skin. And I watch as the stars shine above me, And the moonlight settles deep within. On the stones, white as bone, I stand lonely, For she is, forgotten bliss, a lady only, That is compelling, waves are swelling, On the soft sand... And I love the flow of her body, The sweet water upon my soft face. And I watch as the stars shine above me, And my eyes are captured by her grace. In evening, dawn is leaving, and I wander, Across the beach, out of reach, just to ponder, That this lady, will one day save me, From the cruel land... And I live for the touch of her beauty, The dark water upon my light soul. And I listen in content of the rhythm, My heartbeat aligned with her sea flow.
