I once went for a walk
as I often do when I ponder I began to speed my step until I broke into a run down my street I went then suddenly away I flew the ground grew distant and the clouds wisped past my face beyond the atmosphere I drifted past the moon I sped gone beyond pluto I traveled the stars came closer soon I left the galaxy yet I kept going onward the stretches of space gave way to infinite blackness I had left the universe behind around I turned as it sped away smaller it seemed to fit my hand suddenly I remembered I stood on nothing with everything in my palm I dropped the universe and ran into the darkness I am running still
