I don't want to forget
the things you said to me
I don't want to forget
how the beauty set me free
I want to hold these memories
here inside of me
where they can't be tarnished
where they can't be seen
I don't want to forget
the looks upon your face
I'll commit them to my memory
and always hold them safe
safe from others scrutiny
safe from judging minds
in a corner of my heart
that only I can find
