Hills, Valleys, Life

When storms of today have blown away
Hills and valleys of my mind
Is where I go and want to stay.

Reflections of yesterday seem clear
Life lived each day is always near.
What stops me from doing foolishly?
Merely my mind watching over me.

Storms will rumble around in the head
Words and memories can be left unsaid
Hold them close and hold them dear
Hoping that your soul will show no fear.
