He looked over his congregation and frowned. These people were good people but they still did not truly follow the lord Jesus Christ completely. He raised his sleeve to wipe the sweat off his brow before he started to speak.
"Paradise is waiting for you. Jesus promised that with his death you will go to heaven. The bible states clearly that only people who take Jesus into their heart, those will be saved." He picked up the book, pounding on its cover; his many gold rings gleamed in the light.
The congregation started waving their hands. Some even stood up with closed eyes, hands waving in the air. People shouted amen over and over again. The man watched and waited until the room fell silent.
"It saddens my heart to see many people not here. Your friends and family that have not read the book and found true belief. I know you have busy lives but it is our job as Christians to bring the bible to the people of this world. To bring them with us to paradise." Again he raise his jeweled covered hand with the book in it. "The bible states many will suffer for being non-believes that Satan himself will be given those souls. I will end this sermon on who wants to believe and take Jesus into their hearts. Please, I beg you, walk up to me and receive him."
A few people came forward that day. The man scheduled the baptisms and placements into bible study classes.
At the end of that Sunday the man was in his office. He had just finished counting the collection. Most of that money would be going to foreign missionaries, some would go to himself and the up keep of the building. His ritual before he left for the day was to prepare the money for deposit and pray to his lord.
"Lord,
Thank-you for your bountiful blessings but I have a long way to go to complete your work. I have taken more people from god today. I have lead them down the path of Idolizing the Bible and his son. I need more money to complete the cause lord.
In Satan's name.
Amen."
