The terror in the night
A poem about a child's fears.

The bugs aren't going to get you
the sharks won't get a bite
the ghosts don't even stand a chance
as long as I'm in sight
I won't let monsters bite you
or dragons squeeze you tight
I will be here
you need not fear
the terror in the night
my little child is so afraid
things give her such a fright
as long as I am by her side
I'll protect her with all my might
