My Place in the Sun
How I want my freedom

I'm a growing bird
trapped in a small cage.
Oh, when will I get out?
I impatiently wait for the day
when I can open the cage door,
spread my pretty wings
and fly away!
I will fly to places I've never been,
Conquering every mountain
swimming every sea
meeting all people,
having the adventure of a life time.
Of course I will visit the birds of my cage,
but no arm too long, no mouth too wide
will keep me from my dreams.
When this day will come,
I will fly all over
finding my place in the sun.
