THE CHILD HUDDLED IN THE CORNER
A childs supernatural experience.

The child huddled in the corner, its gaze fixed on the luminous image that was moving along her bedroom wall. A mirage of lights and colors, swirling in a maddening vortex, illuminated by a light source of unknown origin.

She had the irresistible urge to touch the being, even though the power of her fright held her in place.

Her heart was beating in such a rapid pace in her chest that she thought it would wear out at any second. The apparition lifted from the wall and spun its way in her direction.

Spellbound by the phenomenon she followed its path with her eyes as it floated near the door, and as if swallowed by the mouth of darkness it disappeared.

Where it had come from, or where it had gone to would remain a mystery to her to this day.
