The Shadow
What can this be, this figure me? Within a man baptized by pleas for stature, courage and strength demure displays this figure, tis my decree! Yet bellows my soul in lonely jest for half a man, I am this quest. And though it seems by beckon lure is truly sought as gifted bless. A tapestry of woven souls, two minds, one heart for just one goal. Am I the lead; am I the might? Who plays this part, who plays this role? If not abreast, inside I know - profound in heart, my life bestow. To see the woman who gave me light, to honor me as her shadow.
