Beneath the spotlight Two humble eyes sparkle unto the piano of my youth, Letting go, Letting my soul go, Letting the moment gain control Every breath a note A scale of glittering hues of harmony- Silver keys sweep the crowd by the Anxious touch of powder gloves Midnight blues cools the darkness, The cherry wood stage shaking My aqua eyes drinking in the sound as the balcony trembles, Wanting support As the music floods the holiday air... As the notes strum each thread of my weak inner being, Hues of Sax's color paint the room and the curtain fall, Silence draining tears from the people, The souls who heard it fell silent and were still As they beheld the heart of music. Thanks for the help editing it Strummer!!
