Fleeting Existence

Is not life a fleeting existence in the present?
A split second separate the past from present,
The present from the future, now and unknown.
The past gone, the present now, future unknown.

We shouldn't live in the past or dream of future.
But live in the present the best we are able too.
Gain knowledge and experience from our past.
Doesn't these experiences give us our wisdom?

Doesn't our actions, and decisions, get wiser?
This is gained knowledge by our experiences.
Is not this usually why, the older are wiser?
Those who live with experiences wise indeed.

The stats are facts, and are exact is this true?
Why do we not treasure life's existence more?
Our past is gone and, our future is not known.
Only the present time is relative to life for now..

Often take life for granted Thinking of tomorrow.
The present is only a very short fleeting second.
Because it is a simple fact life itself is very short.
From our past we have memories forever to last.

Our future we have hopes and wishes for our life.
We should treasure every fleeting second of life
Thank God for the time He's given to each of us.
Never take for granted life and His precious love.
