Always Near

Wherever I am,
You are always near,
always in my heart
and always on my mind
Even though you're
everywhere to me
I still miss you more
with every passing day
It hurts to miss you
Sometimes I feel like crying
because you can't be here with me
To hold me when I need you
To hug me when I need to be comforted
But I refuse to cry because tears
wont bring you to me
I love you with all of my heart
I'll never give up on my love for you

Each night I gaze up at the stars
I close my eyes and make my wish
As I watch the stars shine bright
I think about how thankful
