Rubiyat Poem
Though I’ve never met her. We dance away lifetime, in a waltz of tenderness. Walking miles by a seashore, as we speak in sweet caress. Her and I, we sit and talk, as many hours pass – and though I’ve never met her, this love I must confess. When early morning rises, a kiss begins my day. Her smile is the first I see, with soothing love's display. In sentimental cuddling, I feel her arms around me – and though I’ve never met her, my love will never sway. We sit and gaze in each other’s eyes; our fingers intertwined. We sit so close together, our bodies redefine. I find no start or ending, to our infinite embrace – and though I’ve never met her, our hearts have been combined. Within this mind, I feel a love, of one I’ve yet to know. And I see her face so clearly! It warms this weary soul. I feel her breath across my face, and touch upon my being – and though I’ve never met her, our love is ages old. Kactus Berry
