I am not supposed to take offense,
To your false pretense.
Deception becomes you.
Who are you really?

Oh sweet child of insincerity,
The joke is on you, not on me.
When your game comes to an end,
You'll be left standing,

The world is all consuming,
When you are alone.
So heed the warning now.
Forgiveness is but an apology away.

Take the time, to save face,
Change your image, don't go out in disgrace.
It is not what you say that will save you.
Actions are the truth behind the words.
